CONCERT WITH A VIEW AT THE WATER’S EDGE
What a night! This past Friday, 14th February 2020, we tried something a little different. “Concert with a View at the Water’s Edge” was the promise, and we most certainly delivered! The Ndongeni Lawns were filled with picnic-goers, all eagerly awaiting the festivities of the evening. On the menu were a selection of scrumptious club favourites and a classic dessert and the kitchen had mouth watering aromas wafting through the Lowerdeck restaurant. Those who opted out of our home-cooked meal brought along their own picnics, many with a selection of classic South African concert snacks (BILTONG!) and others even brought along their own table decorations - perhaps next time we should have a little table deco contest?! Parable Fifteen and Zazz lit up the Ndongeni Lawns with their amazing performance and an incredible backdrop of the bay and harbour lights. They entertained with a selection of widely known covers, as well as some tantalising originals, leaving us wanting even more! A huge thank you goes out to Parable Fifteen, Zazz, October Sun Productions and we wish them all the best with The Vision Tour 2020 - definitely worth finding out where they’ll be playing near you! Thanks also go to all staff who worked that night and organised/ran the event - your efforts are greatly appreciated. It was a great evening with awesome people - definitely one to remember! Have a look at the Facebook event page to see more of what you missed. Would you join us for another event like this? Do you have any musician recommendations? Let us know!
